All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller of our products. This means you buy the product from Paddle, and the product is licensed to you by us under these Terms.
When you pay, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Your receipt and the charge on your card statement will show Paddle.
We sell custom lists of B2B SaaS companies, delivered as a data file. Each list is built to the criteria you specify. The fields included in each row are described on our website.
By paying, you confirm that you have reviewed the sample and that the full list is to be built to the same criteria and standard.
Our pricing is published on our website. At the time of writing it is $0.20 per row with a minimum order of $100. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT, which Paddle adds at checkout where applicable.
When you pay, we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the delivered data for your own business purposes. This includes:
You may not sell, license or otherwise provide the data as a product. In particular, you may not:
If you share data with a client as part of a service, your client is bound by the same restrictions, and you are responsible for their compliance.
If you are buying on behalf of a company, the licence is granted to that company, and you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
We guarantee the accuracy of the rows we deliver at the time of delivery. If a row is unusable, we replace it. The definition of an unusable row, the time limit for claims and the claim process are set out in our Refund Policy.
Apart from that guarantee, the data is provided as is. Company data changes over time, and some fields (such as employee counts or funding totals) are estimates. We do not promise that the data will produce any particular business result.
Our Refund Policy is at assaybase.io/refund. In short: no refunds after delivery, because the product is data and cannot be returned; full refund if we cannot deliver; replacement of unusable rows.
You are responsible for how you use the data. In particular, you must comply with all laws that apply to your use, including laws on commercial email, telemarketing and data protection in the countries where you and the companies on the list are located.
You must not use the data for any unlawful purpose or in a way that damages the reputation of AssayBase.
The data compilation, its structure, the selection of fields and the methodology used to build it belong to us. Facts about individual companies are not owned by anyone; what we own is the work of collecting, verifying and organising them. Your licence in section 6 is the only right you receive.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the list in question. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or losses arising from your use of the data.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on our website on the date you place an order. Changes do not apply to orders already placed.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that we cannot resolve by discussion will be brought before the courts of England and Wales.
